Saturday 7^th February 2004 - Portsmouth - Amlwch Leisure Centre

Well, another month and the clubs second Portsmouth of 2004. I'm sure everyone would agree that we had a good day with a high standard of shooting and some impressive scores.

Once again the Houston brothers dominated with a relentless level of accuracy.
Congratulations to Karl who eventually emerged the victor, with hardly a stray arrow embracing anything other than a peppered gold he was rewarded with a personal best for his efforts. Nice One! Must have skipped on the Pot-Noodle this month eh! ;)
Congratulations also to all the victors in their respective classes, and the inspired effort contributed by all competitors.

On behalf of all club members I would like to thank the organisers for their committed efforts and dedication on arranging and officiating Saturdays event, and in their perpetual voluntary commitment to the club in general. A loud round of deafening applause from the wings is applicable.

On a personal level, it is good to be back and I'm really happy to be shooting again after such a long break from the sport. I was quite surprised to see some familiar faces the first night I turned up at the club and it didn't feel like over ten years had passed since I saw them last, the years have been kind.
So, on that note, I'll finish by portraying my thanks and appreciation to everyone for your warm welcome and making me feel at home at the club.
